Highpoint 13. West Virginia, Spruce Knob, 4863 ft, 8/25/03

This was the first of 3 state highpoints today. Went on to Maryland and Pennsylvania, before stopping at Hershey, PA. Used Wingers' book for guidance. The 10 mile road from Hwy 33 takes about 1/2 hour to drive. The fire tower is a few hundred feet from from the parking lot. Found the benchmark at the base of the tower. I'm pointing to it in the picture below.
